Celebrity Hairstyles
Cynthia Nixon - "Sex and the City" New York City Premier 05/27/2008
Cynthia Nixon has long layers fashioned in her strawberry blonde colors. A small high side part brings the top over into a small dip on
the side blending in with her spiral curls. The other side is tucked behind her ear with the rest of the hair lying over.
A tremendous example of what red tones in the hair can do is the startlingly blue/turquoise in Cynthia’s eyes that is presented in the
photo. Our celebrity went from a red to an all over blonde, and to the present color that releases a higher level of appeal and charm.
Hints of blush compliment her light make-up, with eyeliner on the top lids, mascara and a neutral shade of lip tint.
The thick white straps were a good idea as it gives a break in the flesh. I can envision Cynthia with the colors of moss, sage or
parrot green. The greens would tone down the pink in her skin and bring a more balanced approach. White is nice, but there are other
colors that would be more complimentary.
Giselle Fernandez - RAZZLE! DAZZLE! Share’s 55th Anniversary Boomtown Gala – 05/31/2008
Few can compare with Giselle’s vibrant brunette color and the credit goes to the hand behind the scissors. Unless you have a good
haircut, the color you select will not be as radiant or youthful looking as you would like it to be. Giselle’s hair is clipped and
textured in short layers that dip on the sides and swing up, inspiring those of us who need to do “something” with our hair!
Giselle Fernandez is fair to medium skinned with light touches of bronze around her face, light shadow in the inner
sections of her eyes and smokey shadow in the outer sections, eye liner on the top lids and a small amount on the lower lids, brushed
brows and coral lip tint.
A touch of country and western in black and red are an excellent choice for Giselle’s hair and skin coloring. However, to look
completely western, the shirt is buttoned up and complete with a western tie!
