Hair Smoothed with Gloss
The first thing I notice about Solange Knowles is her remarkable beauty, then I zero in on what that beauty entails. The color of
her hair is so black it gives off a silver shine that actually matches her dress. Her hair is not the color of silver, but black
and it is the intense shine that is projecting this image. The way in which her make-up is applied, matches her whole look and she
looks better than good!
When we look at Ms. Knowles hair, begin to think of how healthy her hair is and how it shines. Her curls are fabulously smoothed
with gloss. This is a very good picture of how long hair can look neat. There is a side part with the hair going over into a
slight pouf on the top and a small dip of a wave along the side of her frame. One side has been coiled towards her face and the
other side away. You can use medium to large rollers on the top going over to the one side. Use either medium sized spiral or
regular rollers going back on the one side and toward the face on the other side. Sometimes, you may need to use two rollers per
vertical sections because they may not be long enough. Continue around your hair with vertical rolling. In the crown, you may use
medium to large rollers going under and begin the vertical sections measured by working your comb around from the top of your ear
to the back. When you comb it out, wrap the curls around your finger to bring the coils you desire back into place. Comb the hair
over to the one side with no apparent bangs on the forehead. Spray your gloss and leave room for your earrings to be seen when you
put them on.
