Avril Lavigne - KOI Las Vegas Opening for Planet Hollywood 11/09/2007
Avril's name means April (the vine). Our friend is a Canadian born punk/rock artist and actress. She presently portrays Beatrice
Bell in the film called The Flock.
Avril's hair is designed in long layers with a side part and smoothed into a rich straight form, surpassing her shoulders. There are
long bangs that fall into angles with the rest of her hair on the sides. Her hair color is a pleasing golden beige with thin sheets
of cinnamon, each placed in the perfect location to compliment her fine features. There is the energized color of the deep hot pink
streaks that brings the party girl out of Avril. Thinking pink is no problem! I used to keep my whole head of hair pink for years
when I was just a tad younger. If you like blue or purple, what are you waiting for? Today there are several easy colorful gels
and pastes on the market you can put apply for yourself and it washes out! What can be more fun, than to arrive at a holiday party
with part of your hair matching your new dress! Not only that, but you could wear a corresponding hair ornament that would complete
your new color. What fun! If you are still hesitating and cannot make up your mind, go to your hairstylist. I guarantee they will
love you for breaking their bored cycle of everyday colors. Don't forget your deep conditioners!
To achieve the smoothness of this photo use generous portions of gel and styling lotions while blow drying. You will also need to
use a thermo styling lotion for the flat iron and apply your smoothing serum and spray with gloss.
Alana Curry - Annual Lint Roller Party 11/14/2007
Alana Curry started her career as a young dancer and when her family moved to California she began landing roles in such television
series as: Passions and Days of our Lives.
Our girl reveals plenty of bravado in her slinky turquoise evening dress and accessories to match! Her hairstyle is a no fluff
stuff! There is a lower side part that brings the hair over to one side of her face and down to meet her long layered ends. The
top is smooth and straight meeting the ends that give way to irregular winds and a couple of stray flips. There are select slices
of browns and darker blonde mixed into this appealing self portrait. If this hairstyle looks like you, begin with your clean
conditioned hair, apply your favorite styling crème and use your blow dryer at least a foot away from the hair. Run your fingers
throughout your hair while drying. Comb when dry and shake to allow your hair to fall, where it desires.
Here is how I have sketched Alana in my mind. I picture her swamped with deep lush glorious waves that would increase her soft
femininity around her face. The waves would begin from both sides of her part and be quite obvious. The ends of her hair would be
gently brought back under her ears, while curling under and fastened into sections and clasped with combs and ornaments. I believe
this would be a classy canvas for our celebrity and she would definitely have the gaze of all onlookers when she walked into any
room.
Tip: Before you begin styling your hair, ask yourself "what do I really want to look like today? What am I trying to accomplish?
Do I want the same hairstyle, or would I like something that could improve what I already have? And, am I willing to try something
different? If not, ask yourself why not? Am I fearful? And, why do I feel that I have to look like everyone else, when my style
doesn't necessarily look that good on me?" Make a New Years resolution and follow after variety. When you do this, sooner or later
you are going to come across a superb look that will bring out the best of your great features, and everyone has something
attractive that can be beautiful. Sometimes, you just have to experiment enough to find it.
