Mary J. Blige - 2007 American Music Awards 11/18/2007
Our queen of the hip hop soul, is a songwriter, singer, rapper, producer and actress. You may have remembered her first hit You
Remind Me.
Mary J. Blige is wearing her short hair tapered up in the back and moving into smooth longer lines as you go up and around her hair.
There is an obvious side part that brings the heaviest hair over and closing around one side of her face. The other side is tucked
over her ear. Good contrast. Her color tones begin with beige blonde with slices of darker and lighter browns and the nap beginning
with the darker color. Mary Jane used to have long hair last year.
This hairstyle would be an easy deal for you to work with in the mornings, as you don't have to worry about the nap of the neck at all.
After you have washed, conditioned and applied your super moisturizing gel, section your half part and begin using your favorite
vented round brush. Start in the crown and bring the brush under your hair and rolling under while pulling out. Do the same on the
side beginning from the part you sectioned. When done, apply a little bit of smoothing crème and gloss. Comb your hair over to the
side like Mary's and tuck behind your ear. See how simple this is, I bet Mary does her own hair sometimes, that is, if this isn't a
wig.
Alicia Keys - 2007 American Music Awards 11/18/2007
Alicia Keys has sold over thirty million records. She writes songs, soul singer, R&B, pianist, record producer, philanthropist and
actress. How do these people deal with such a large amount of success in such a short time? I imagine the paparazzi would be after
them all of the time. Sigh, our time; just isn't our own.
Would you like to look better, perhaps sexy and more appealing? Now is the time to draw some attention from that guy you've had your
eyes on. There are ways you can do this, just by changing the way you look. Go to your mirror right now and examine your hair and give
yourself an honest appraisal. Hair too dull looking, or haircut grown out a bit too much? Now look at Alicia's hair. When combed out,
her hair probably sits on her shoulders. She is wearing a side part with her hair coiled up in curls revealing the sultry lines of
her backless dress. Your haircut is everything and will determine the first impression you make.
After you have washed, conditioned and dried your hair, generously apply your new thermo moisturizing setting lotion and use your
coiling iron. Begin along the bottom of your hair in the back taking small sections and wrapping them vertically. Do these all over
your head as you move toward your top. Use your larger round iron for your top and comb out from your side part to mesh into the
sides as pictured. You want to have that slight dip that falls over to the side of your face. Spray your gloss and go out and give a
big smile in his direction.
