Long Layers and Coiled Curls
Look at Melissa Ford's brown eyes! They look like painted copper buttons! Tip: Anytime you have a dramatic one single color such as the
photo we are seeing, Melissa has the dark brunette (almost black) will purposely make your eyes stand out and totally enhance the color.
Brown eyes look coppery. Blue eyes will look bluer and green eyes greener. Hazel or gray eyes will have the dominant color brought
completely out. If Melissa's hair was an all over coppery red, her eyes would appear to even more copper. Any dramatic overall color
will do this. For example: Instead of going a platinum blonde that would demand you apply heavy make-up for your eyes to stand out,
go an intense strawberry blonde and take note just how this affect brings out the color of your eyes! All this is magnified when the
proper make-up is applied. Remember, this is without any slices of blonde or red in your hair, unless you decide to have it done away
from your face. Consider your hair a frame around your face. Not every frame looks good around every picture.
Melissa's choice was to have long layers in coiled curls. After her hair was dried, the stylist sprayed the setting lotion and used
her coiled curling iron and wrapped medium sized sections of her hair, vertically all around her head. One part of her hair has been
moved away from her face while the curls were wrapped toward the face. Her hair has a centered beginning marking the entrance of this
lush hairstyle.
