Nostalgic Waves and Coils
Jessica Alba brings a nostalgic image to the scene wearing her hair in a low side part that is brought over to lie close to her head
and ending in waves and coils. Her brown hair has a natural appearance with a few subtle slices of blonde nestled inside the curls.
If one were to bring all of her hair over to the one side that we can see and tie a red ribbon around the waves, it would be reminisced
of the movie Gone with the Wind. Not everyone can wear this hairstyle and get away with it. For example, can you honestly picture
Sharon Stone or Victoria Beckham with a hairstyle with this? Jessica has a medium sized oval face and a lengthy neck to accommodate
all of her curls. When you examine where her hair is placed, you will note that only a small section from the side of the top and
measuring to the length of her jaw frames her face. The other side is tucked behind her ear. Basically her face is well exposed.
These are things to think about when you get ready to style your hair into this image. Begin to use your large round brush to blow
dry the top and the crown area. That part must be smooth. When you have the flat crown and top, use your coiled curling iron to
wrap the hair into small sections of waves and coils. Allow the hair to fall where they wish. Your hair may not be exactly like
Jessica's, because there aren't any two heads of hair alike. Isn't it nice to know you are an individual and unique unto yourself.
