We move forward eight months and see Jodie with a completely changed look. This cut is shorter
and heavily layered with a lot of razor texturing, and a smoothly curving fringe area across the forehead. The hair is styled to
lie mostly straight with a gentle bed in the appropriate directions – down and to the side for the fringe area, and out and back
for the sides and nape.
The overall effect is wispy and a little funky and works very well for Ms. Foster. Notice how
the gentle curves of the hair seem to soften the normally hard-edged angles of her facial features creating a balanced look. While
this is a departure from the fuller-volume-curl style, I do think this is a hit.

Here it appears that Jodie has spent the last five months letting her hair grow-out again. We
also see that there is a definite difference in the styling techniques used. The cut is still a very layered affair and is styled
with volume obviously foremost in mind. The look is soft, and romantic, but for my taste seems a little matronly; although, it
must be noted that the curves are flattering and balance her features.
I can’t say that I truly like this look for Ms. Foster, but it isn’t entirely a miss in my
opinion. I would like to the see the fringe styled for a little better effect and perhaps a little more texture in the style to
give the look a hipper edge.

What a difference a year makes. This is more like what I would hope for Ms. Foster in the way
of styling. Unlike the previous “matron-lady” look, this is a more-youthful, vibrant style and is not dissimilar to some of the
previous looks. The cut is a shorter, layered cut, heavily-textured to be very light and wispy at the ends, and styled with a
gentle outward bend to the ends of the hair and a defined-yet-mussed look.
The curving lines and soft fringe work well to make the angles of Jodie’s face appear more
softened and balanced. While not quite polished enough for something like a black-tie event, the look is more than capable of
being “upgraded” to fit virtually any occasion.

Three months past the point of the last photo and we see the same style grown a little longer.
The styling now is a little more subdued. I’m really not fond of this look at all. It’s a matter that the downward turn of the
angles make the overall look of the face harsh.
At the very least, the style does manage to provide moderation of the high forehead, but the
predominantly vertical lines of the style do emphasize the line of the nose and squareness of the face.

Here we see Ms. Foster’s most recent look. Again, the cut is a medium-short length, and it is
heavily layered and textured, but the bulk is more evenly distributed throughout the lengths. The parting of the hair is far to
the side, and the hair is styled with a lot of detail and texture with the hair feathered in sweeping curves that are at once
flattering and inherently attractive.
The overall look is very appealing. It is a stylish, chic look that works in a wide range of
settings. Dress up the style with some gemstone accessories and a little extra sparkling jewelry and you can attend any high-end
function, or it can be kept simple in order to dress down the style. This is my favorite look for Ms. Foster, and one which I
hope that she keeps in mind as she progresses forward here.
